The Porter’s Call Founder’s Award

We are thrilled to present our 2026 Founder’s Award to

Amy Grant

an artist whose life and legacy beautifully reflect the heart, hospitality, and quiet generosity that inspired Porter’s Call from the beginning.

The Founder’s Award was first presented to Porter’s Call founder, Al Andrews, in 2023 and recognizes individuals whose lives reflect the organization's spirit and mission.

Amy Grant's career spans more than 40 years and stretches from her roots in gospel into becoming an iconic pop star, songwriter, television personality and philanthropist. With three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums and four gold albums, her total career album sales have exceeded 30 million and over 1 billion global streams. Grant’s chart success has been consistent throughout her career with six No. 1 hits, 10 Top 40 pop singles, 17 Top 40 Adult Contemporary tracks and multiple Contemporary Christian chart-toppers. In addition to her six GRAMMY® Awards, Grant has earned 26 GMA Dove Awards (including four Artist of the Year Awards) and has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as the Music City Walk of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

WHAT IS EVENING OF STORIES?

Evening of Stories is a heartwarming and inspiring night where artists share their journeys through both words and songs. This year’s event will feature artists who have personally benefited from Porter’s Call, telling their stories and performing their music, offering a rare and intimate glimpse into the lives of those navigating the challenges of life on the road.

For 2026, we’re excited to present the evening in a dinner format, with opportunities to meaningfully support Porter’s Call through live and silent auctions. The evening offers a close-knit celebration of hope, healing, and belonging for the artists we serve — many of whom face burnout, loneliness, and mental health challenges with little support.

With a more intimate setting this year, sponsorship opportunities are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
